Temporary Lane Closure on New Jersey Avenue over CSX Railroad and Virginia Avenue SE from April 8 through April 30, 2021
(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close a single lane of New Jersey Avenue over CSX and Virginia Avenue SE beginning April 8 through April 30, 2021, weather permitting.
Operation hours for this activity will be from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
DDOT will put in place a single lane closure New Jersey Avenue over CSX Railroad and Virginia Avenue, SE, which will assist in performance of a series of preventive maintenance activities.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.
Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
