Roadwork on Nebraska Avenue NW Beginning Wednesday, April 7, 2021
(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin resurfacing in both directions a portion of the 5000 Block of Nebraska Ave NW, starting on or about Wednesday, April 7, 2021, weather permitting.
The contractor is authorized to work Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Construction is scheduled to be completed by Friday, April 16, 2021, weather permitting.
Curbside parking will not be allowed during the construction working days. Parking restriction signs will be posted at least 72 hours in advance at locations where parking will not be allowed. These signs will notify the start of and duration of “No Parking,” and contact information of the engineer in charge.
Traffic control devices will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling around this work location and to be observant of the work zone.
