DDOT TRAFFIC ADVISORY:  Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge Repairs at Irving Street under North Capitol St NE from March 29 through April 5, 2021

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will conduct bridge preservation and repair activities at Irving Street under North Capitol St NE in The District of Columbia Bridge Network beginning March 29,2021 through April 5 2021, weather permitting.

 

The contractor will close one lane eastbound then one westbound lane. The lane closures will take place after the morning rush hour from 9:30 am and the lanes will be open at the start of the evening rush hour at 3:30 each day.

 

One of the two bicycle lanes will be open at all times.

 

All traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane is closure.

 

Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
