Temporary Closure on I-295 Kenilworth Avenue Freeway Northbound for March 22 through April 2, 2021

                      

                                   

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes and shoulders on the following roadways to perform construction activities along the I-295/DC 295 corridor beginning March 22 through April 2 2021, weather permitting. 

The following closure will be in place from Monday, March 22nd to Friday, April 2nd weather permitting:

  • Single right lane closure on I-295 Kenilworth Ave northbound between Hayes St. NE and Foote St. NE starting at 9:00am to 3:00pm from March 22nd to March 26th
  • Single right lane closure on I-295 Kenilworth Ave northbound between Hayes St. NE and Foote St. NE starting at 7:00am to 5:00pm on March 27th
  • Single right lane closure on I-295 Kenilworth Ave northbound between Hayes St. NE and Foote St. NE starting at 9:00am to 3:00pm from March 29th to April 2nd
  • Single right lane closure on I-295 Kenilworth Ave northbound between Hayes St. NE and Foote St. NE starting at 8:00pm to 6:00am from April 1st to April 2nd
