Temporary Lane Closure on Massachusetts Avenue NW Starting March 24, 2021                        

                                   

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will implement a right lane closure on northbound Massachusetts Avenue NW from 21st Street NW to Dupont Circle beginning on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 and will continue through Wednesday, April 14, 2021, weather permitting. This lane closure is necessary to complete storm drain installation related to the Rehabilitation of Massachusetts Avenue NW project.  

 

Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians safely through the work zone. All users of the roadway are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and work zones while traveling in this area.

 

Once completed, the Rehabilitation of Massachusetts Avenue NW (from 20th Street to Waterside Drive) project will include improvements such as sidewalks, streetlights, green infrastructure, and other streetscape elements.
