DDOT TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge and Tunnel Inspections from March 7 through March 12, 2021

 

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

 

Dupont Circle (Tunnel 101) Southbound lanes on Sunday, March 7, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

 

Washington Circle (Tunnel 102) tunnel Eastbound lanes closure on Monday, March 8, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

 

Mall tunnel (Tunnel 1142) Left lanes and then right lanes northbound closure on Tuesday, March 9, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

 

9^th St SW tunnel (Tunnel 173) Left lanes and then right lanes closure on Wednesday, March 10, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

 

SW Freeway over 12^th St SW (Tunnel 1113) Right and left lane northbound closure on Thursday, March 11, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

 

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas.  Motorists should anticipate lite-to-moderate delays due to the lane closures.  Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
