Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations from December 7 through December 9, 2020
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Good Hope Road under Anacostia Freeway (I-395) alternating Eastbound and Westbound lane closures of Good Hope Road on Monday, December 7, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
Westbound East Capitol Street under Minnesota Avenue alternating right and left lane closures on Wednesday, December 9, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, weather permitting
Eastbound East Capitol Street under Minnesota Avenue alternating right and left lane closures on Wednesday, December 9, from 12:30 pm to 3 pm, weather permitting
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
