Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations from November 30 through December 4, 2020
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Westbound Ramp from K Street, N.W., to Whitehurst Freeway right lane closure on Monday, November 30, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, weather permitting
Eastbound Ramp from Whitehurst Freeway to K Street, N.W, left lane closure on Monday, November 30, from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
Westbound I-395 HOV Lane under 14th Street left shoulder closure on Tuesday, December 1, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, weather permitting
Eastbound I-395 Lane A-1 under 14th Street alternating right and left shoulder closures on Tuesday, December 1, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, weather permitting
Ramp from Southbound I-395 to Eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) under the Southeast Freeway right lane closure on Tuesday, December 1, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
14th Street over I-395 Lane A-1 and I-395 alternating left and right lane closures of Northbound 14th Street followed by alternating right and left shoulder closures of Southbound 14th Street on Wednesday, December 2, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting
Southbound Rock Creek Parkway under Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., right lane closure on Friday, December 4, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
