Highlights include:
- Since March 30, the COVID-19 Health and Medical Branch has continued to support COVID-19 diagnostic sampling in the District, as of November 17, the District has supported 249,644 samples. The number of samples has increased by 32,383 since last reported on November 2.
- The District is adding a new testing site starting Monday, November 23. This new site will be located at the GEICO parking lot at Nats Park and run Monday-Friday 2:30 – 7:30 pm. The District will also expand the hours at other testing sites, please visit coronavirus.dc.gov/testing for more information. The District will also start to collect insurance information at the testing sites starting on Monday.
- The DC Health Scientific Advisory Committee for the Development and Implementation of a Safe, Effective, and Equitable COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Program in the District of Columbia had its third meeting on November 17. They Discussed two of the vaccines that will most likely get FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) approval within the next month. For more information, visit COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Committee.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – The District’s reported data for Thursday, November 19, 2020 includes 130 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 19,808.
The District reported that two additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

- 73-year-old male
Tragically, 669 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
