Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations from November 18 through November 20, 2020
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Westbound Southwest Freeway (I-395) under 7th Street, S.W., alternating right and left lane closures on Wednesday, November 18, from 10 am to 1:30 pm, weather permitting
Eastbound Southwest Freeway (I-395) under 7th Street, S.W., right lane closure on Wednesday, November 18, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
Westbound I-395 under 14th Street left lane closure on Thursday, November 19, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, weather permitting
Westbound I-395 under 14th Street right shoulder closure on Thursday, November 19, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, weather permitting
Westbound I-395 HOV Lane under 14th Street right shoulder closure on Thursday, November 19, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
Eastbound Southwest Freeway (I-695) over 2nd Street, S.W., to Half Street alternating right and left lane closures on Friday, November 20, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm, weather permitting
Westbound Southwest Freeway (I-695) over Half Street to 2nd Street, S.W., left lane closure on Friday, November 20, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, weather permitting
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
