Temporary Lane Closures on 14th Street from D Street SW to Virginia State Line Starting November 5 through December 4, 2020

 

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to temporarily close travel lanes on 14th Street from D Street SW to Virginia State Line starting on or about Thursday, November 5, 2020, weather permitting. At least one lane will be open to the traffic in each direction.

 

Lane closures and restrictions are needed to resurface the roadway. The contractor is authorized to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Construction is scheduled to be completed by Friday, December 4, 2020, weather permitting.

 

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the work zone.
