Bridge Repairs on Irving Street under North Capitol Street NE on November 3 through November 17, 2020

 

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will conduct bridge preservation and repair activities at Irving Street under North Capitol St NE in The District of Columbia Bridge Network. This work will be performed from Tuesday, November 3, 2020 thru November 17, 2020, weather permitting. The contractor will close one lane eastbound lane, then one westbound lane. The lane closures will take place after the morning rush hour from 9:30 am and the lanes will be open at the start of the evening rush hour at 3:30 each day. One of the two bicycle lanes will be open at all times.

 

All traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane closure.

 

Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
