Traffic Pattern Changes at the New Jersey Avenue NW and New York Avenue NW Intersection on November 10, 2020
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises motorists to expect traffic pattern changes at the New Jersey Avenue NW and New York Avenue NW intersection beginning on or about November 10, 2020; weather permitting.
This traffic pattern change is the final phase of the traffic configuration to convert New Jersey Avenue NW from its current one-way configuration to. two-way operations. The following changes will be in place and are further exhibited in the graphics below:
New Jersey Avenue NW southbound traffic north of New York Avenue NW, will be able to continue south across New York Avenue NW towards K Street NW. Eastbound New York Avenue NW traffic will be able to make a right turn onto southbound New Jersey Avenue NW towards K Street NW.

Traffic controls will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone safely. Motorists are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and road work crews while traveling in this area.
