Temporary Closures of Suitland Parkway SE on October 19 through October 26, 2020
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close Suitland Parkway, SE between South Capitol Street, SE/SW and Firth Sterling Avenue, SE on weeknights from Monday, October 19, 2020 through Monday October 26, 2020, from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am; weather permitting. This work will take place on the following morning.
This closure will also continue on Saturday, October 24, from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. In the event of inclement weather, additional construction needs, or other unforeseen delays work will continue through Sunday, October 25, 2020. A marked detour will be in place during these closures.
This closure is associated with the bridge reconstruction shown in the highlighted area in the below graphic.
