Traffic Pattern Changes on New Jersey Avenue NW between Pierce Street NW and K Street NW on October 19, 2020

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises motorists to expect traffic pattern changes on New Jersey Avenue NW between Pierce Street NW and K Street NW beginning on or about October 19, 2020; weather permitting.

This traffic pattern change is a part of the final traffic configuration to convert New Jersey Avenue NW from its current one-way configuration to two-way operations. This conversion will be completed in phases. The following changes will be in place and are further exhibited in the graphics below:

New Jersey Avenue NW will accommodate southbound traffic between Pierce Street NW and K Street NW.

Traffic controls will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone safely. Motorists are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and road work crews while traveling in this area.
