Temporary Closures on I-295 Northbound and Southbound September 25 through October 5, 2020

 

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes and shoulders on the following roadways to perform construction activities along the I-295/DC 295 corridor. 

 

The following closures will be in place daily from Friday, September 25 until Monday, October 5, 2020 weather permitting:

  • Full ramp closure on I-295 northbound on-ramp from Malcom X Ave SE to I-295 northbound starting at 8:00pm to 5:00am from September 25th to September 28th
  • Full ramp closure on I-295 northbound on-ramp from Malcom X Ave SE to I-295 northbound starting at 8:00pm to 5:00am from October 2nd to October 5th

These closures are required for pavement work, guardrail installation and equipment mobilization associated with multiple DDOT projects aimed at improving the I-295/DC 295 corridor.
