DDOT Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations

sTemporary Lane Closure in Multiple Locations

 

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to temporarily close one travel lane at the following locations on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22, 2020, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting: 

  • S Capitol St NB at North of I St, SE
  • SE Freeway WB at Service ramp to I-395, SE
  • I-395 NB ramp to SE Freeway EB and S Capitol St SB, SE
  • N Capitol St NB at M St, NE
  • I-295 SB at exit to Laboratory Rd, SW 

At least one lane will be open to traffic at all times.

 

The closures and restrictions are needed for guide rails repair work. Construction is scheduled to be complete in one day, weather permitting. 

 

Traffic control devices will be in place. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and be observant of the work zone.
