Temporary Lane Closures at Multiple Locations on Monday, Sept 14 through Friday, Sept 18, 2020

 

 

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to temporarily close one travel lane at the following locations on Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 18, 2020 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting: 

  • N Capitol St SB to Service Rd at North of V St, NW
  • S Capitol St NB at Service Rd to M St, SE
  • Mass Ave WB at East of 15th St, NW
  • Michigan Ave EB at West of 7th St, NW
  • I-295 NB to Laboratory Rd, SW
  • Anacostia Freeway NB at North of 11th St, SE
  • Suitland Parkway EB at East of Alabama Ave, SE
  • Suitland Parkway WB at West of Alabama Ave, SE
  • I-66 EB to E St Expressway, NW
  • Potomac River Freeway NB at ramp to 27th St, NW  

At least one lane will be open to traffic at all times.

 

The closures and restrictions are needed for guiderails repair work. Construction is scheduled to be complete in one day, weather permitting. 

 

Traffic control devices will be in place. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and be observant of the work zone.
