DDOT Traffic Advisory: Temporary Closures on I-295 Northbound and Southbound for August 27 through August 28, 2020

Temporary Closures on I-295 Northbound and Southbound for August 27 through August 28, 2020

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes and shoulders on the following roadways to perform construction activities along the I-295/DC 295 corridor. 

The following closure will be in place daily on Thursday, August 27^th to Friday, August 28^th weather permitting:

• Single right lane closure on Kenilworth Ave NE Service Road between Hayes St. NE and Foote St. NE starting at 9:00pm to 4:00am from August 27^th to August 28^th

This closure is required for pavement work, guardrail installation and equipment mobilization associated with multiple DDOT projects aimed at improving the I-295/DC 295 corridor.
