DDOT Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge Repairs on Pennsylvania Avenue over Anacostia Parkway from August 24 through September 18, 2020

Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge Repairs on Pennsylvania Avenue over Anacostia Parkway from August 24 through September 18, 2020 

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will conduct bridge preservation and repair activities Pennsylvania Ave SE over Anacostia River in The District of Columbia Bridge Network. This work will be performed on Monday, August 24, 2020 thru September 18, 2020, Weather permitting. The curb lanes will be closed, the inbound curb lane and then the outbound lane between the daily rush hours 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.

Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
