Bridge and Tunnel Inspection Schedule for July 8 and July 9, 2020
(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Southeast Freeway (I-695) over N and O Streets, SE, right lane closure of Southbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) followed by partial lane closure of the Ramp from M Street to Southbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) followed by a right lane closure of Northbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) on Wednesday, July 8, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
Southeast Freeway (I-695) over N and O Streets, SE, left lane closure of Southbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) followed by a left lane closure of Northbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) on Thursday, July 9, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
