Temporary Lane Closures for Theodore Roosevelt Bridge Inspection on Wednesday, June 24, 2020

 

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

 

Ramps from Constitution Avenue to Theodore Roosevelt Bridge over inbound ramps and inbound Theodore Roosevelt Bridge ramp over Potomac Parkway on June 24, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting:

  • Right lane closure of inbound Theodore Roosevelt Bridge ramp over the Potomac Parkway, followed by a westbound right lane closure of ramps from Constitution Avenue to Theodore Roosevelt Bridge over Inbound Ramps 

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas.  Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.  Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
