Temporary Closures on Southbound I-295 and North Capitol Street on Monday, June 1
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to
temporarily close one travel lane at the following locations on Monday, June 01, 2020 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting:
- I-295 Southbound at DC Line, SW
- North Capitol St Southbound at “O” St, NW
At least one lane will be open to traffic at all times.
The closures and restrictions are needed for Impact Attenuator repair work. Construction is scheduled to be complete in one day, weather permitting. Traffic control devices will be in place. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and be observant of the work zone.
