New Preparedness Guide for District Residents

guide

A disaster can occur at any time, and it's crucial for you and your family to be prepared! In February, HSEMA partnered with the District of Columbia Office of Disability Rights (ODR) and DC Health to create a guide for District residents to help them better prepare for emergencies. The new guide provides templates and planning documents needed to create a preparedness plan prior to an emergency. The guidebook also provides step-by-step instructions on how to build an emergency kit as well as space to record important information related to each resident's needs.
