Dear Washingtonians,
Spread the word: On Monday, December 10, the My School DC lottery application for school year 2019-2020 opens.
Prior to the launch of this year's lottery, we encourage families to come out to EdFEST, our city's annual citywide education fair. At EdFEST, families and students can learn more about and meet educators, administrators, and staff from more than 200 public schools.
Furthermore, this year, EdFEST will follow the release of the new DC School Report Card. School officials and representatives from the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) will be on site to help families navigate and interpret the new report cards.
Our public schools have come a long way, and we have a lot to be proud of in the schools and opportunities that families will learn about on Saturday. Let's keep working together to build on this progress.
Learn more about EdFEST HERE.
Sincerely,
