DHCD Special Alert

RSVP for Weekend IZ Orientation Class: Saturday, Dec. 1

Hendrix

The District’s Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) Program is one innovative approach used to house more Washingtonians. Thanks to IZ, residents can find safe and affordable housing in high cost areas of the city, such as the Navy Yard and Mount Vernon Square.

But eligible households have to fulfill certain criteria--such as taking an IZ Orientation Class.

The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is pleased to announce the availability of a weekend IZ orientation class in December.

Here are the details:

  • Date and Time: Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
  • Location: DHCD, 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20020.
  • RSVP here.

Future weekend sessions may be scheduled, so make sure you continue to receive our alerts, and share this information with others who may be interested in weekend classes.

For more information, contact 202-442-7221 or iz.adu@dc.gov.

This class is just one example of the housing resources that the District government provides to residents. Learn more at rootstoroofsdc.com.
