8th Annual Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Summit and Networking Symposium: Linking Businesses to Opportunities for Growth
The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) and the D.C. Division of the Federal Highway Administration in the U.S. Department of Transportation today announce that the 8th annual Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Summit and Networking Symposium will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
The Summit is an opportunity for DDOT and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)-certified DBE firms and other small businesses to learn about upcoming federal-assisted business opportunities. It will also offer a chance for attendees to network with highway and bridge construction-related prime contractors, architectural and engineering consultant firms, DDOT project managers, and other DBE firms and small businesses within the transportation industry.
The 2018 Summit will include a focus on partnerships between prime and sub-contractors and between DDOT and the private sector, and it will also provide important information about insurance and other requirements for firms doing business with DDOT.
Although the DBE Summit is free, space is limited and advanced registration is required.
