Dear Washingtonians,
With September just around the corner, it's that time of year again in Washington, DC—time to celebrate the artists, makers, and entrepreneurs who keep DC creative. It's time for 202Creates.
From go-go to street art to jazz, we know that Washington, DC has always been—and
will always be—a leader in the arts. The Washington, DC we know and love today has been shaped by generations of artists and creatives who helped carve out
our vibrant neighborhoods and develop the District's distinct personality and culture.
Throughout September, we will showcase the creative entrepreneurs and artists who are vital to DC’s economy and culture with events across all eight wards. There will be something for everyone—from music and film festivals to comedy shows and mural tours.
