Florida and Q

The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is holding a public hearing on a property sale that will transform several Florida Avenue and Q Street NW sites into affordable housing in the Old City neighborhood of Ward 5.

The sites were in a round of Solicitation for Offers issued by DHCD on June 1, 2016. The property was awarded to Mi Casa through a competitive selection process. Mi Casa will develop the property into the Barnett-Adan Apartments, a 24-unit affordable housing project with 75 percent family-sized units.
