Development Team Hosts Development Update and Housing Preference Meeting
On May 9, The Community Builders (TCB), the DC Housing Authority (DCHA) and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) hosted a Park Morton Resident Meeting to provide development updates. They also announced the launch of a Housing Preference Survey which will gather critical information on Park Morton’s residents' preference for their future permanent home - either at Bruce Monroe, through a housing voucher, homeownership, other public housing, the redeveloped Park Morton, and other options. HUD will ultimately require a relocation plan and process for the Park Morton site that provides multiple relocation options to residents.
