 On Tuesday, January 30, 2018 neighbors met for the monthly NeighborUp Marvin Gaye Network Night. Network Night is a fun-filled “party with a purpose” that brings members of the community together to form stronger relationships and have important conversations about the neighborhood. Deanwood Town Center Zoning Commission Hearing Next Month
The Deanwood Town Center development team, composed of The Warrenton Group and the National Housing Partnership, continues to make progress towards final approval of the project’s planned unit development (PUD) application. The public hearing for the project is scheduled for Monday, March 19, 2018 at 6:30 PM. The hearing will be held in the Jerrily R. Kress Memorial Hearing Room, Room 220 South at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. View the PUD Application below.

Leasing at the Residences at Hayes (5201 Hayes) Will Begin Soon!
Construction at the Residences at Hayes is expected to be complete in Spring 2018! Pennrose Management will begin leasing activities soon. This residential development will have 150 units, 50 of which will be replacement public housing units for Lincoln Heights/Richardson Dwellings residents. The Residences at Hayes is an income-based property that requires specific information about each household member in order to lease a unit. The attached flyer lists the documents that public housing residents will need to qualify for the replacement apartments.

DC Launches Annual Summer Youth Employment Program
 The application for the annual Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP) is now available! MBSYEP 2018 offers job opportunities to DC youth ages 14 - 24 in a variety of sectors including local and federal government, education, and nonprofit. The six-week program will begin on Monday, June 25, 2018 and will end on Friday, August 3, 2018. You can sign your youth up to apply or sign your organization up to become a host by visiting the link below.
