Barry Farm Development Progress Continues
In the coming weeks, Barry Farm residents will begin to
see construction fencing erected at some spots on Sumner Road, followed by
installation of hay bales, and activities to manage erosion and rodent control. After that time,
environmental abatement will begin. This
work will be done to prepare the site for eventual demolition activities. The DC Housing Authority (DCHA) and its development partners, Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) and A&R Development, will distribute and post notices to advise residents when work
will actually begin.

fiscal year 2018 (FY18). Far Southeast Family Strengthening
Collaborative will provide comprehensive case management and Athletes United for Social Justice along with Whitman
