Lincoln Heights / Richardson Dwellings Community Building
The New Communities Initiative (NCI) Team has been busy hosting community events that are intended to spark conversations about the community and planned development activities. The NCI team is committed to building a network of community members focused on making sure the planned redevelopment of the community benefits everyone. To that end, over the past two months, we've hosted Juice Bar Thursdays and numerous neighborhood pop-up picnics at Lincoln Heights and Richardson Dwellings to facilitate conversations about the neighborhood and the changes happening in the community. A few of the questions discussed at these events include: What do you like about your neighborhood? What would you like to change about the neighborhood? If you had a $5,000 grant to improve the neighborhood, how would you use it? The NCI team will continue to host community-building events as redevelopment progresses in the Lincoln Heights and Richardson Dwellings communities.
