Happy New Year, YGL-B!

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a great start to 2013. We are excited for a new year and are looking forward to more professional development, social, and community service events in 2013. We hope you will join us for our YGL-B Third Thursdays Happy Hour, and stay tuned for some timely and interesting professional development opportunities in the next few months.


YGL-B Third Thursday January Happy Hour (1/17)

Come catch up with old and new friends as we celebrate the New Year with YGL-B on January 17. Starting this month, YGL-B will be hosting regular Happy Hours on the third Thursday of every month. See you there!

When: Thursday, January 17, 2013, 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Where: Caddies, 4922 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814 (closest Metro station: Bethesda) (directions)

What: Caddies has drink specials, $2 draft beers, $4 premium draft beers, discounted appetizers and 0.50 wings.

Bio-Med Book Club Dinner Discussion (2/11)

Join the Bio-Med Book Club on February 11, 2013 to discuss Phantoms in the Brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind by VS Ramachandran. Whether you’ve read the book or are just interested in the topic, come on out for what’s sure to be an interesting discussion!
