Coalitions

The theme for August and September is Building Coalitions!

Whether you join our Coast to Coast competition or participate in an event, we hope you find ways to build coalitions both in and out of the workplace.

Coast to Coast Graphic

Starting Monday, August 30, the Coast to Coast virtual tour, brought to you by GEHA in partnership with WIFLE, BIG, FEW, and YGL, will take you from coast to coast, stopping at amazing attractions with postcard-perfect images and bet-you-didn’t-know descriptions. Each day you’ll visit a new virtual attraction, earning points and road signs as you record exercise minutes or steps, sleep, and acts of kindness.

We need team leaders to jump start this exhilarating journey. If you’d like to:

  • Recruit your fellow YGL members to join you in Coast to Coast
  • Enjoy camaraderie and support
  • Inspire others to enhance their fitness and other well-being habits
  • Gain inspiration to meet your own goals … then raise your hand to be a team leader by emailing us!

Registration opens Monday, August 9 and closes Monday, September 6. The program takes place from Monday, August 30 through Sunday, October 10.

Atlanta scavenger hunt

YGL Atlanta hosted a Scavenger Hunt last month that offered their members an opportunity to be tourists in their own city. Four teams battled it out to see who could solve the most clues and become the reigning champs.

Congratulations to the YGL ATL Warriors - Yonathan Gebru, Shaakira Jones, and Raisa Drew for solving the most clues! They earned the spoils and were hooked up with one-of-a-kind YGL ATL survival kits!
