Public Service Recognition Week 2020 Contest - YGL Wants to Hear from You!
Now more than ever, we need to recognize the amazing work of our nation's local, county, state, and federal government employees. In the spirit of celebrating PSRW from May 3-9, 2020, we would love to hear from our YGL members on what motivates you to be a public servant. Please take a moment to consider submitting a short 50-100 word statement and share your public service story with the YGL community. Not only will you help inspire others to continue to serve our country, YGL will also select 3 winners to receive a $10 Starbucks gift card as an extra thank you! You’ll notice the NextGen Summit has a good mix of keynote sessions, workshops, breakout sessions and Office Hours. Here’s what to know about each:

Keynotes: Engaging and inspiring presentations from notable speakers from varied backgrounds in the General Ballroom.

Workshops: Facilitator-led 1.5-hour deep-dive sessions on a specific topic. All workshops will follow a similar format of lecture, group exercise and sharing insights.

Breakout Sessions: 1-hour sessions that will provide an overview and practical takeaways of topics relevant to public servants.

Office Hours: 20-minute one-on-one appointments with career experts or financial planners. All attendees are welcome to schedule appointments when they’re made available in the late spring of 2020.
