YGL: Resilient We Rise! FY 20
At YGL's Fiscal New Year Party on September 26th, we unveiled our new initiative, Resilient We Rise! The idea for Resilient We Rise sprang from the challenges of the government shutdown earlier this year and the understanding that workforce resiliency is of paramount importance during uncertain times. We are excited to create programming to help fellow govies navigate uncertainty, plan and save for a rainy day, get the next promotion, and build your professional network, while focusing on personal wellness.
The Resilient We Rise programming will officially kick off in January 2020. We will break up programming by quarterly themes throughout the year, focused on different areas like, wellness, work life balance, volunteerism, diversity and inclusion, networking, and career and leadership development. Expect to see events coming up with exciting and engaging speakers and trainings, blog posts, podcasts, networking opportunities and group fitness classes. Whether you are interested in career specific events and training, wellness activities, networking events or social get-togethers, there will be something for everyone!
Be on the lookout for opportunities to get involve in this new initiative in the near future.
