YGL's Fiscal New Year Celebration

The last Government Shutdown was hard on all of us and after it was over, we felt a wave of disappointment, low engagement, insecurity and disconnect across our entire government workforce. In order to help you stay strong, engaged and focused amidst adversities like govt. shutdowns, Young Government Leaders is starting a new initiative called Resilient We Rise FY20. September YGL-EPA Event

Join YGL, the EPA Emerging Leaders Network, and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers @ EPA for a September Social Hour at Players Club on Thursday, September 19 from 5:00-8:00 PM.

This is your chance to meet fellow public servants and have a ton of flashback fun!  Players Club is a 70s/80s-themed arcade bar with Pool Tables, Skee-Ball, Foosball, Bubble Hockey, Basketball Shoot-out, and a rotating line-up of 14 old school arcade games!  Not to mention they have craft beers, specialty cocktails, Shake Shack, a rooftop bar, and a daily happy hour.  It is conveniently located at 1400 14th St NW in Logan Circle, only a brief walk from the McPherson Square Metro stop.  Look for us in the Lounge area!  There's no dress code, but the wearing of neon scrunchies, a loud-patterned tie, or anything else of the era is highly encouraged.
