YGL's Leadership Development Program - Application Deadline: July 11, 2019
The YGL Leadership Development Program is a 5-month program that utilizes a cohort model that will provide a supportive environment to develop targeted leadership skills. Participants will have the opportunity to cultivate professional multi-agency connections while engaging in the training sessions.
The goal of our program is to prepare entry to mid-level (GS-12 and below) public servants to address the challenges of government by developing new skills and fostering meaningful relationships.

Women Leading the House Appropriations Committee Lunch Panel - July 17, 2019
131 & Counting will hold its next event, Women Leading the House Appropriations Committee Lunch Panel, on Wednesday, July 17th at the Capitol Visitor Center at 12:30 p.m.
Appropriations Committee Chair Nita Lowey (D-NY) and Ranking Member Kay Granger (R-TX) will lead the panel. They will be joined by Jenny Luray - Former Legislative Director, Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY); Chief of Staff, Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Letitia White - Former Appropriations Associate, Chairman Jerry Lewis (R-CA). Nancy Ognanovich, Bloomberg Government, will moderate the panel.
YGL & NGL Connect - Join Us!
YGL and NGL, the emerging leaders group for the Department of Education, will be co-hosting a social event on July 17th in the Union Station area. Mark your calendars for a chance to meet fellow public servants from other agencies or organizations, especially from those with offices in that area.
