131 & Counting

Young Government Leaders is excited to be a part of 131 & Counting, a new, bipartisan educational initiative that aims to support the steady growth of women in Congress by bringing together women policy professionals and women lawmakers.  It serves as a forum for women lawmakers, women congressional staff and women policy professionals to discuss the challenges they face in a male-dominated field(s). Arthur S. Flemming

The Arthur S. Flemming Award is one of the most prestigious awards for service in the federal government. Established in 1948 at the suggestion of Dr. Arthur Sherwood Flemming, the Awards program has had its home at the Trachtenberg School since 1997.

Eligibility is restricted to individuals currently engaged in federal government service and who have served 3-15 years. Only years directly on the federal payroll are considered service

Nominations will be accepted through Thursday, February 28, 2019. More information about Arthur S. Flemming and the Awards program are available on the website.

FEEA is currently recruiting for volunteers for our 2019 scholarship selection committee. Volunteers review applications from home in April and early May.
