 NextGen, That's a Wrap!
What an awesome two days it has been! NextGen 2016 concluded this past Tuesday where it brought together over 800+ participants from around the country. Some of the highlights included an appearance by Second Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, speeches by Harvard Business School Senior Lecturer Mitchell Weiss and National Geospatial Agency Deputy Director Susan Gordon and the introduction of "Ready Girl", New York City's emergency management superhero. There were also sessions that introduced attendees to mindfulness and Lego Serious Play. YGL and GovLoop want to thank those who attended and helped organized the best conference in government. 10k Run Sign-up Now Open
Aetna Federal Plans invites the members of YGL to participate in the 10K run at the 41st Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Registration is free for a limited number of participants, who will receive a runner’s bib, Team Aetna shirt, and a runner’s shirt. Please contact Elizabeth Fischer Laurie by August 10th if you would like to participate.
Whether or not you decide to join Team Aetna, visit our booth at the Health and Fitness Expo. The Expo will be held at the Gaylord National Harbor and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD, and is open to the public:
