Beginning at 1:01 a.m. Eastern on Sunday, August 9th Granicus technical teams will be performing system maintenance and upgrades in our Production environment. During the maintenance period, the applications and services listed below will be unavailable.

Planned System Maintenance Date/Times:

  • Sunday, August 9th from 1:01  – 5:00 a.m. ET (6:01 – 10:00 a.m. in the UK)

Impacted Applications and Services:

  • Communications Cloud via admin.govdelivery.com
  • Subscriber services allowing the public to sign up for your messages via public.govdelivery.com
  • Link tracking URLs, such as those starting with lnks.gd
  • Web Services/APIs for the Communications Cloud via api.govdelivery.com
  • Targeted Messaging Service (TMS) used by organizations triggering messages directly from their own systems into Granicus via tms.govdelivery.com
  • Textizen
  • Emergency Notification System (ENS)

For GovDelivery Communications Cloud API and TMS Users:

As part of this maintenance, we will be migrating the listed applications between our data centers. As a result, the IP addresses serving api.govdelivery.com and tms.govdelivery.com will change. We strongly encourage you to whitelist all IPs listed for the service below to ensure connectivity to either data center.

Current IPs:

  • api.govdelivery.com: 209.134.144.23
  • tms.govdelivery.com: 209.134.144.26

IPs that will be used post-maintenance: 

  • api.govdelivery.com: 66.117.61.22
  • tms.govdelivery.com:  66.117.61.71

Possible action needed:

If your application is connecting to a specific IP address or your firewall is only configured to allow for a single IP: you will likely need to update these settings to account for the change in IP addresses in order to continue connecting to Granicus services once the maintenance is complete. We strongly recommend whitelisting both data center IP addresses.

If you have previously whitelisted the IP addresses for each data center:  None of the IP addresses listed above are new additions and have been used previously to serve the applications, as such no action should be required.
