Notification of Planned System Maintenance: July 28th

On Sunday, July 28th, Granicus technical teams will be performing system maintenance and important security upgrades which will require system downtime.  During the maintenance period, the applications and services listed below will be unavailable. 

Planned System Maintenance Date/Time:

  • Sunday, July 28th from 1:01 am – 5:00 am ET (6:00 am - 10:00 am in the UK)

Impacted Applications and Services:

  • Communications Cloud via
  • Subscriber services allowing the public to sign up for your messages via
  • Link tracking URLs, such as those starting with
  • Web Services/APIs for the Communications Cloud via
  • Targeted Messaging Service (TMS) used by organizations triggering messages directly from their own systems into Granicus via
  • Emergency Notification System (ENS) - Application will be accessible but notifications and alerts will not be sent until maintenance is complete. 

Granicus Customer Support will provide real-time updates during the maintenance periods via our System Status webpage (which you can also subscribe to in order to receive emails automatically when updated).

For GovDelivery Communications Cloud API and TMS Users:

As part of this maintenance, we will be migrating the listed applications between our data centers. As a result, the IP addresses serving and will change. We strongly encourage you to whitelist all IPs listed for the service below to ensure connectivity to either data center.

Possible action needed:

If your application is connecting to a specific IP address or your firewall is only configured to allow for a single IP: you will likely need to update these settings to account for the change in IP addresses in order to continue connecting to Granicus services once the maintenance is complete. We strongly recommend whitelisting both data center IP addresses.

If you have previously whitelisted the IP addresses for each data center:  None of the IP addresses listed above are new additions and have been used previously to serve the applications, as such no action should be required.
