Superior Historical Museum breaks ground for new building
The Historical Commission and Town staff have worked all year with design firm Architectural Workshop on the new Superior Historical Museum and recently broke ground alongside Schneider Building Company, Town Mayor and Trustees. The new museum will be a modern replica of the original Mine Camp House, which was lost in the Marshall Fire. The Commission has worked tirelessly to rebuild the museum's collection through donations, including unique pieces that were salvaged from the Marshall Fire. Construction of the new building is expected to be completed by spring of 2024.
Interim Museum at Grasso Park Bungalow While the new museum is under construction, residents can visit the Interim Superior Historical Museum located at 112 E. William St. in Original Superior. The interim museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the first Saturday of every month.
