Two great bands for the Summer Concert Series finale
Don't miss the final Downtown Superior Summer Concert Series on Saturday, Aug. 26! The event will feature two great performances. At 6 p.m., Jeff & Paige will bring science and nature to life with kid-friendly music and stories that the whole family will love!

Local favorite, Ultralowfi, will take the stage at 7:15 p.m. Expect to hear their energetic renditions of popular hits as well as their own lively originals. And who knows? You might even spot Superior's Mayor Mark Lacis playing the drums!

The concert series takes place at Superior Commons Amphitheater located at 2130 Creek View Way in Downtown Superior. Bring a chair, kick back, and enjoy the music with a cool, frosty beverage! Eatery at Blue Sport Stable has partnered with the Town to offer attendees (21+) beer, wine, and seltzers for purchase. (Bringing and consuming outside alcohol is prohibited.)
Parking at the Superior Commons Amphitheater is limited; please plan to bike, walk, or carpool. Additional parking is available at the garage structure adjacent to Blue Sport Stable—special thanks to Blue Sport Stable, Toll Brothers and Bambei Brewing for sponsoring the Downtown Superior Summer Concert Series.

Pool hours have changed for North and South pools
With summer coming to an end and fall approaching, the North and South pools have adjusted their hours. The new pool hours are as follows: weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both pools will close for the season on Sept. 4.

Bring your furry friend to Dog Daze on Sept. 7
Bring your furry friends to the South Pool for dog-friendly fun for a good cause! Dogs can jump, play, and cool off in the summer heat. Dog Daze is a free event, but donations to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley are appreciated. (Furry friends only; no humans will be allowed in the pool.) Dog Daze takes place on Sept. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the South Pool at 3300 Huron Peak Ave.

Get ready for a sizzling Chili & Beer Fest on Sept. 9
The Town of Superior and the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley are once again hosting the Town’s biggest event of the year in partnership with the Superior Chamber and Serendipity Tap & Café. You don't want to miss 2023 Chili and Beer Fest on Sept. 9 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Community Park (1350 Coalton Road).
This year's event features Colorado's best Funk band, food trucks (selling non-chili items), beer, cider and seltzer sampling from local breweries, a Ninja-Warrior themed kids' zone, dunk tank, local vendors and much, much more! General entry is free!

Last year all Beer Sampling and VIP tickets sold out! Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Ticket proceeds go to the Rotary of Boulder Valley in support of local, national and international nonprofits. Visit the Town of Superior events page for more information.

People's Choice Chili Cook-off The Chili cook-off competition is for non-ICS members such as individuals, area restaurants, food vendors, and local organizations. The winner will be determined through online public voting. To register, simply complete this form by August 20 or email events@superiorcolorado.gov for more information.

The disc golf course needs your feedback!
Residents are invited to a Toss & Talk on September 15, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to play the Autrey Park disc golf course (with temporary baskets) and provide feedback before the course design is completed This program is free, however registration is requested. Discs will be provided for those that need them. (1830 Honey Creek Drive)

Electric bike rebate applications open soon
The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) is offering rebates on new e-bike purchases. Eligible residents can receive a rebate of either $500 or $1,100, depending on their income level. You can redeem the rebate in person or over the phone at participating retailers. The first round of applications is open from Aug. 16 to Aug. 21 and the CEO will announce and open additional application rounds each month until funding is expended. Once the application period closes, selected applicants will receive an email notifying them of their rebate.
Starting April 1, 2024, all Coloradans, regardless of income, will be eligible for a $450 discount on an e-bike purchased from an authorized retailer. For more information on the application process, income eligibility, and other details, please visit the Colorado Energy Office's website.

Plein Air Painting Festival returns Sept. 23
Painting in Purple Park is back! Come join the fun at the 2023 Plein Air Painting Festival. Take a stroll around beautiful Purple Park (1310 S. Pitkin Ave.) to watch over a dozen artists create their masterpieces or partake in other festival activities including live music, a food truck, face painting, and two art creation stations for visitors of all ages.
Hosted by the Cultural Arts and Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee, the Plein Air Painting Festival will also include a Youth Mentorship Program for youth 12 through 18 years old who can pre-register to paint alongside an artist. Visit the Town events page to learn more.

The Boulder County Youth Corps has completed another successful season! This 12-person crew persevered through the hot sun and worked hard to complete the many conservation projects in Town this year. Their hard work has made the Town safer from wildfires, more ecologically diverse, more wildlife-friendly, and a better place to recreate. Please share your gratitude for their efforts on the Town's social media pages!
