Volunteers will receive training in how to identify and safely remove targeted weeds. It's anticipated that a minimum of 5 hours a month from each volunteer will be sufficient to make a significant impact in our open space environment.
Interested individuals can register for the Open Space Ambassador Training Session which will be held on April 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Rd.).
This pilot program has limited spots available, so don’t miss your chance to help this year! If you'd like to sign-up for the program, but can't attend the training session, email Open Space Ranger Tom Keras at tomk@superiorcolorado.gov.
