Some Recreation Amenities to Open May 16 under Safer-At-Home Guidance

Playgrounds, Park Shelters & Pools to Remain Closed for now

The Town of Superior Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Athletic Fields, Dog Park, Bike Park and Skate Parks will reopen on Saturday, May 16 with specific safety measures in place (see below). Once reopened, users must follow posted safety guidelines to remain in compliance with current state and local public health guidelines. Outdoor restrooms will also reopen.

The Library Drop Box at Town Hall will be available Monday, May 18 (final pick up at 2:00 p.m.). Town Hall will observe modified business hours from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The public is encouraged to conduct business remotely and pay using credit cards whenever possible.

TO REMAIN CLOSED: Playgrounds, park shelters/pavilions and pools will remain closed until the Town receives specific guidance from Boulder County Public Health and the State of Colorado on how to safely permit additional openings.

The Town Board is in support of opening pools this summer if and when State and County guidelines permit.
