Brandon Williams with Eagle County is offering a unique opportunity for anyone interested in Google NotebookLM. For anyone in state/local government, join us on 15 Aug 2025 at 9:30 am MDT. Brandon will introduce the topic, but the session will actually be with a Googler (Goldy) who's tied into the NotebookLM team, and Goldy will be doing a demo as well as fielding questions or feature requests. This isn't going to be a technical discussion, more of a unique opportunity to engage with someone on the Google AI team about what they are doing and an opportunity to ask questions and suggest features/use cases - sign up here and I'll add you to the invite! - Eagle County - Google NotebookLM Coffee Hour Sign-Up

Industry trends show that threat actors have increased the number of attacks against the K-12 education system because of the "data rich environment" that centers around the extensive amount of personal and financial data they maintain about their students, teachers, school staff, etc.
The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has an extensive amount of information available on K-12 education and cybersecurity as well as a report titled "Protecting Our Future: Partnering to Safeguard K-12 Organizations from Cybersecurity Threats".

People use ableist words and phrases everyday without realizing how they affect other people. It's easy to use words like "crazy," "lame," or "dumb" without really thinking about where those words come from or the history behind them, but we can do better.
The Apple Style Guide has an excellent section on inclusive writing that provides simple advice in plain-language that can help to navigate this complex topic.
For more information, check out the writing about disability section in the style guide.
