Work Session
- Town Water Attorney Pete Ampe shared an update on Town of Silverthorne water rights.
- Town Council discussed FIRC's emergency housing assistance program.
- An update on Wildflower Nature School was provided by Councilmember Amy Manka.
- The resale process of Smith Ranch Neighborhood homes was discussed.
Town Council
- The Town of Silverthorne was presented with a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association.
- Town Staff and Council thanked Senior Sergeant Seibel for his service to the Silverthorne community and congratulated him on his retirement after 23 years with the Town of Silverthorne police department. Seibel was presented with the Police Service Award.
- 2023 Business Grant recipients were announced.
- Ordinance 2023-10: An ordinance amending Chapter 4 Community Development, Article XI: Building Code Enforcement - National Electric Code, on second reading, was approved.
- Ordinance 2023-11: An ordinance authorizing the Town Manager to execute a contract for the Town's Purchase of Properties Located at 1590 S. Badger Lane and 175 Willowbrook Road, on second reading, was approved.
- Ordinance 2023-12: An ordinance authorizing the Town Manager to execute a Contract for the Purchase of Property at 251 W. 4th St., including Lots 21R, 9, and 10 of Block G in the Town Sub Resub, on second reading, was approved.
- Ordinance 2023-13: An ordinance authorizing the Town Manager to execute a contract for the Town's sale of a property located at 1603 N. Chipmunk Lane, on second reading, was approved.
- Ordinance 2023-14: An ordinance authorizing the Town Manager to execute a contract for the Town's purchase of a property located at 601 Rainbow Drive, #535, on first reading, was approved.
- Ordinance 2023-15: An ordinance to modify the Town Code related to
business licensing and sales tax, on first reading, was approved.
- Resolution 2023-23: A resolution approving an Intergovernmental Agreement for Summit County Child Care Tuition Assistance among Summit County, Colorado, and the Towns of Blue River, Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, and Silverthorne, Colorado, and Early Childhood Options, was XX.

Get involved and shape the future of housing in Silverthorne by attending an open house for the Silverthorne's Strategic Housing Plan on Tuesday, June 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Share your opinions and ideas on housing trends, workforce housing, increased density and innovative solutions during this community open house.
In addition, you can share your ideas on housing in the Town of Silverthorne by completing this community survey. The Town of Silverthorne housing survey is open through Friday, June 30, 2023. Survey data will be used to help finalize the Town of Silverthorne Strategic Housing Plan.
