Work Session 

  • Town Council interviewed Northpointe Development for the Annie Road workforce housing project.
  • Lake Dillon Theatre Company presented an afterschool care proposal.
  • Town Council held a follow up discussion about downtown parking management.
  • Town Council held a follow up discussion about the Library Foundation presentation.
  • An update was presented about the childcare facility planning and budget.

Town Council 

  • TZ Financial LLC dba High Country Healing renewal of medical and retail marijuana licenses was approved. 
  • Transfer of H&R liquor license from Murphy's Tavern to Momentum
    Hospitality dba Eclectic Bar and Grill was approved. 
  • Resolution 2022-02: A resolution approving a conditional use permit for
    Syndicate Brewing 201 Summit Place, Unit 203 was approved. 
  • Ordinance 2022-01: An ordinance amending the code to provide for a
    process addressing complaints alleging campaign finance law violations
    and adopting various election laws by reference, second reading, was approved
    .
  • Ordinance 2022-02: An ordinance submitting to the registered electors of the Town of Silverthorne a question as to whether to increase the Town's lodging tax to six percent in the April 5, 2022 election, first reading was approved. 
  • Ordinance 2022-03: An ordinance approving the conveyance of real property known as Smith Ranch, Filing No. 7 to Smith Ranch Development, LLC on first reading was approved. 
  • Resolution 2022-03: An intergovernmental Agreement with the Towns of Frisco, Dillon and Blue River to establish a Municipal Emergency Response Team (MERT) was approved.

2022 Silverthorne Municipal Election

Make a difference in our community and run for Town Council! Silverthorne's Municipal Election is coming up on April 5, 2022 and voters will elect a Mayor and four Town Council members. The Mayor and three Council candidates with the most votes will be elected to four-year terms. The Council candidate with the fourth-most votes will be elected to a two-year term. 

Silverthorne residents that are interested in running for Mayor or Town Council may pick up a nomination petition from Town Hall. Once candidates pick up a nomination petition, they will have until Monday, Jan. 24 to circulate their nomination petition and file it with the Silverthorne Town Clerk. All candidate nomination petitions must be filed by Monday, Jan. 24 to be eligible for the municipal election in April.

Community Art Space Survey

The Silverthorne Art Board is exploring the feasibility of using the old Fire Station in town as a cooperative artist workspace and community gathering space. The center will foster arts in Silverthorne by offering a creative space where artists can thrive and community members can experience the arts through programs, classes and events.
